Stuff the Classroom 2026
Kayla Hurst — 6th Grade “Teaching today is about much more than academics. Every day teachers inspire, encourage, support, and believe in their students while helping them grow into confident, capable individuals. A little support from the community can make a lasting difference in the lives of both teachers and students."
LaDaysha Etienne — Kindergarten “Being a teacher is about so much more than teaching academics. We help shape confidence, build character, celebrate milestones, comfort children through hard days, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Every small act of kindness, encouragement, and support can make a lasting difference in a child's life. When you support teachers, you're investing in the future of our community, one student at a time.”
Treasure Gendron — 3rd Grade “Being a teacher today means showing up every day ready to make a difference, even when the challenges are great. Every child deserves a classroom where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn, and with the support of our community, we can give them the opportunities they deserve.”
Kaitlin Gauthreaux — 4th Grade “Being a teacher today is nothing like it was when I was in school. Students need more help in all areas: emotional regulation, learning how to talk to others, understanding their feelings, and so much more that has nothing to do with academics. As a teacher, you are a therapist, a nurse, a mom, a tutor, a behavioral therapist and so much more, but I wouldn't trade that for anything, not even something that pays more.” Congratulations to all four of our winners! Thank you to everyone who entered our giveaway! We hope these supplies are a blessing to our winners, their students, and their classrooms throughout the school year!
At Stuffed Potatoes & Poboys, we’ve always believed that being a local business means more than serving great food. It means showing up for the community that shows up for us, and some of the most important people in that community are our local teachers.
That belief is what inspired Stuff the Classroom, our initiative dedicated to supporting local schools, teachers, and students.
It Started With Four Teachers
One of the moments that really helped bring Stuff the Classroom to life was our decision to give four local teachers $250 each to help with their classrooms, a total of $1,000.
We know how much teachers personally invest into making their classrooms special. From school supplies and decorations to learning materials and everyday necessities, many teachers reach into their own pockets to make sure their students have what they need.
We wanted to do something about that.
So instead of simply saying we support our teachers, we put $1,000 directly into the hands of four local educatorsand let them use it where their classrooms needed it most.
Seeing the response reminded us just how much a little support can mean, and it made us want to do even more.
From a Giveaway to Something Bigger
That $1,000 teacher giveaway wasn't something we wanted to do once and forget about. It became part of a bigger mission: finding ways for Stuffed, our customers, and our community to come together and support the schools around us.
That's what Stuff the Classroom is all about.
Throughout the campaign, we collect school supplies and classroom essentials to help local teachers stock their classrooms. Customers and community members can donate supplies and help us make an even bigger impact.
And because we're Stuffed, we like to say thank you with food! Customers who participate in our supply drive can receive FREE Fried Pickles as our way of showing appreciation for helping our local schools.
Our Commitment to Local Schools
Stuffed was built in this community, and this community continues to support us every single day. Supporting our schools is one of the ways we're able to return that love.
Whether it's putting $250 into the hands of a teacher, filling a classroom with supplies, sponsoring a school program, or simply recognizing the people who dedicate their lives to our kids, we want our local educators to know:
Stuffed is in your corner.
And this is only the beginning.
Local Business. Local Teachers. Local Students. One Stuffed Community.
